Company - How to onboard an employee

We are going to show you how to onboard an employee. 


  1. From the dashboard screen, all you have to do is just click at the top right. 
  2. Head to the onboarding page and you can click the employee button on the onboarding page. 
  3. Or head to the employee page to click on board employee above any employees you already have. 
  4. This will take you back to the onboarding page. 
  5. Choose "employee" and it will take you to the basic employee information page. 
  6. Here you just want to fill in your basic information about the employee such as department, job type, job title, first name, middle name, last name, nationality, date of birth, e-mail address, country code, phone number, gender, joining date, address, country, city, 
  7. Employee tax ID, employee pension, pin and employee PFA (if Nigeria).
  8. Employee NSSF, NHIF, KRA pin (if Kenya). 
  9. just click save
  10. Your employee will receive an email inviting them to join your company on Paysurge
  11. Go back to the Employees page and you'll be able to see all of the current employees that you have onboarded. 
  12. If you want to find out more information, just hit the three dots you'll be able to view employee record, edit employee record documents, add salary, add to payroll, employee exit, and delete employee record. 
  13. Click on View Employee Record to see all the information that you've just filled in and any extra documents and payroll.
  14. You can also choose to import employees via CSV file. All you have to do is download the CSV sample template which you can do by clicking Import Employees
  15. populate the CSV and upload
